Your main responsibility will be to manage, motivate, and influence your team in our Jeans sales department on a daily basis. Here you will be the driving force and ensure that Jack & Jones is a key player in each market in Europe and Canada where you will be in charge of strengthening and developingJack & Jones Jeans’ position ensuring the continued growth and development. You will constantly focus on optimising sales in the stores and ensure that our range of products is continually developed to meet market needs. Furthermore, your role involves the planning of sales promotion initiatives, and building and maintaining close relations to our business partners across Europe and Canada.
Responsibilities and tasks:
- Lead Jeans sales throughout our markets in Europe and Canada by securing the correct product, fit and wash mix in our stores
- Develop sales talents to ensure top sales performances
- Daily cooperation with our Demand Planning and Denim Purchase department in regards to feedback / market trends and future development needs for market specific styles
- Influence sales teams and partners with focus on denim trends
- Weekly communication with country sales managers in terms of product focus, sales plans and market performance
Your passion for sales and leadership leads to results
You are an influential, outgoing and motivating leader who inspires confidence. You work effectively in a dynamic environment without losing perspective and you possess the necessary assertiveness when it comes to decision making. Furthermore, you have solid negotiations skills and your result-driven mind-set reflects on people around you where you have the skills to generate results through others. From your previous experience you have acquired solid business acumen and you know that good results are created through hard work and constructive relations to both internal and external partners.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience with sales and sales management, preferably from a similar position
- Knowledge of the fashion industry and store operations, including an excellent understanding of financial key figures
- Solid experience with denim and jeans
- Leadership experience is essential
- Proven track record of creating results
- Fluent in English both written and spoken
